The competition takes place digitally at: www.pmuconferencevegas.com/championship
The contest is open to licensed permanent makeup artists, from around the world, with the required experience for the category in which they are registering to compete.
Multiple Categories: you may register to compete in more than one category. You may also register under different experience levels, depending on your experience level for each category you are registering for.
(For example: if you’ve been doing microblading for 5 years, you would register to compete as a “Master” in the microblading category, and if you’ve been doing SMP for one year, you would register as a “Newbie” in the SMP category.)
Honor System
(a) Register under the correct experience level for your category. (for example: if you’ve done microblading for 5 years, don’t register in the “Newbie,” or “Pro” level).
(b) Only submit your own work, performed entirely by you, without help from anyone.
(c) Your work submitted must be current work performed for this championship, it cannot be prior work.

Contest photos cannot include labels or brands, any such entries will be disqualified.
All models must sign the “release of liability and use of image” before the procedure is performed on the model.
If model photos are submitted without the signed consent, the work will not be judged, and you will be disqualified. We will email you the form once you register.
No contact with championship judges is allowed. Contacting a judge may result in disqualification.
Anonymity The judges will receive the photos of the submitted work without any name or distinguishing characteristics being attached. A number will be assigned to each participant in each category. Only Championship Organizers will know who each entrant is and their corresponding entry number.
The contest judges will evaluate the submitted entries after the entry deadline, if you do not submit your work prior to the deadline, you will be disqualified.
The judges will rate the entries as follows:
(a) Initial Round: judges will choose the top 10 entries in each category according to their criteria and expertise.
(b) Final Round: judges will use the number rating system assigned for each category, and the three entries with the highest points in each category will receive awards.
Ties If a tie is reached in a category, another judge will be chosen to break the tie.
Judges' decisions are final and may not be challenged.
Money Prizes will be awarded only if the number of entries in a given category and level is 15 or more.
If there are less than 15 entries in a given category and level, the entries will be judged, and trophies and certificates will be awarded to the top 3 entries (no cash prize).
If you wish to forfeit your prize and request a refund, you may do so after being notified you are a Finalist and prior to Winners being announced.
Cash Prizes will be awarded according to:
